Advanced Clean’s John Kilkenny receives the Which? Local Business Of the Year Award from Peter Vickery-Smith CEO Which? and TV presenter, Natasha Kaplinsky
A newcomer to cleaning trained by Prochem Europe has won a prestigious national small business award.
The Which? 2012 Local Business of the Year Award has gone to Prochem customer, John Kilkenny of north London-based, Advanced Clean.
A relative newcomer to the cleaning industry, John attended a Prochem training course in 2010.
“When the recession impacted on my other business and bills needed to be paid, I thought I would have to give up.,” says John.
“But instead, I went on a Prochem carpet cleaning course to get some good training, bought Prochem chemicals, started advertising, and began to pick up work.
One of his first customers recommended John to the ‘Which? Local’ site with a first class review and things moved on. Advanced Clean picked up more Which? readers’ business and further reviews for affordability, quality of work and customer service.
Which? cited John’s business as praised by customers for providing a highly professional and efficient service, excellent workmanship and great value-for-money.
“I knew in advance that I had won the London region but it was not until I got to the Awards ceremony in London that I knew I had picked up the national award from the eleven regional winners,” says a delighted John.
“I really am bowled over – people clearly appreciate that I try to achieve the best results with their carpets and upholstery.”
The Prochem Europe training programme covers all of today’s key carpet, floor and fabric cleaning disciplines.
