Roll call for top distributors (they came, they saw, they sold!)

Congratulations to some of our top selling distributors of 2017! Who are these champions?

These are the businesses that garner exceptional sales of Prochem Europe products; that excel in bringing the Prochem Europe sales ethos to their regions and customers.

In short, the suppliers that go that extra mile.

Some of them did just that last month when Prochem exhibited at Manchester’s 2nd – and highly successful – Manchester Cleaning Show, while we went ‘into the field’ to catch up with others.

First prize goes to Kent’s Capital Cleaning – the Prochem Europe Distributor of The Year 2017. More on the company in July’s e-zine, but for now, suffice it to say, managing director Ashley Wentzell and his team have done a fabulous job of getting the message out there, and then promoting, selling and servicing.

Pictured above is Ashley (right) with Prochem sales manager Phil Jones on one of Phil’s visits to the company’s premises in Ashford.

Then there’s Cleaners Warehouse of Leyland, Lancashire. Sales manager Phil Eaton (left) is shown here with Prochem’s Stuart Macmillan.

And a big well done, too, to Bristol-based Avon Services – aka the One-Stop Cleaning Shop. They’ve been about since the swinging 60s! Pictured above is general manager Cameron McKay with Phil.

Another top distributor last year is Seldram Supplies. They’ve got four branches in as many counties across central and southern England and Anton Tisot is sales manager. Here he is (above) with Phil.

And last but by no means least, our hearty congratulations to High Wycombe-based Techniclean Supply Ltd for being yet another Prochem Europe Exceptional Sales winner. General manager Graham Payne is shown here with Phil.

NCCA makes Special Recognition Award

Prochem Europe has been accorded a Special Recognition Award by the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) at the industry body’s annual general meeting and 50th anniversary celebrations in Warwick last month.

The meeting, held alongside a trade show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, was well attended, with Prochem’s new Powermate 1200 power-wand drawing a crowd.

That evening’s special gala event to celebrate the associations’ 50th anniversary was rounded off with a surprise award to Prochem for the support the company has provided the NCCA during its lifetime.

“It was a wonderful surprise,” says Prochem Europe sales manager, Phil Jones, who attended the event with sales area executive Stuart Macmillan.

“Our founder Ron Tilley recognised the importance and relevance of the NCCA from its inception and we have advocated its role and work in the industry ever since.

Phil, who collected the award on behalf of the company, added: “Ron was delighted to hear about it and has passed on his very best wishes to the association for the next half century!”

Manchester makes a go of a show!

Prochem and the NCCA on show …

We’re going mad for Manchester!

The second Cleaning Show to be held in the city met exhibitors’ conviction that there is solid demand for a regional event of this kind.

Many of the country’s leading suppliers were showing, including Prochem Europe, whose new CR2 cleaning system, equipped with a 500psi pump, large vacuum motor and the capability to clean and maintain bathrooms, changing rooms and washrooms, drew the crowds.

A newcomer to Prochem’s portable machines offer, the CR2 Multi-Surface is a versatile ‘touch-free’ restoration system that not only does away with the need for mops and brushes, but – with the addition of a carpet wand or upholstery tool – can also be used for carpet and upholstery cleaning.

Visitors were drawn from the carpet and contract cleaning, facility management, aviation and train cleaning sectors and the CR2 is now booked to be shown at a large, prestige location in London, a local premier football club, and a major conference centre in the North West.

Portables accessories and attachments on show included the new Powermate 1200, a lightweight easy-to-manoeuvre extraction machine power wand with self-levelling cylindrical 2500 rpm brush, 12” vacuum head and 25 ft. power cable.

Prochem portables included the Endeavor 500, Polaris 800 and Steempro Powermax, with internal in-line Heat ‘n’ Run heat exchanger, along with a selection of the company’s industry-acclaimed specialist cleaning solutions including Fresh Breeze Odour Neutraliser, Extraclean, and Fluoroseal CF.

Prochem had invited the NCCA to join them on the stand and this pooling of expertise meant that many more technical enquiries about the cleaning profession could be managed during the show’s run.

No sooner had the team packed up Manchester, than Amsterdam beckoned and Europe’s major Interclean Amsterdam event, where the company was also showing.
