UK cleaning solutions and technology specialist, Prochem Europe and UK distributors secured encouraging sales in the first half of 2016 with notable procurement of both machines and chemicals in public and commercial markets.
Distributor TC Contracts has completed a major deal to supply Steempro Powermax extraction machines to clean and maintain every British Heart Foundation shop in the UK.
The machines are also being used to clean and sanitise all donated sofa sets before being resold in the charity’s shops.
In London, luxury apartment block managers Golden Eagle have expanded their service offer to tenants throughout the city to include carpet cleaning.
Says Prochem sales manager, Phil Jones: “Gold Eagle bought a Prochem Galaxy to effect this new service and attended the free training course that comes with every machine where they acquired a range of our Woolsafe products such as Prespray Gold and Fibre & Fabric Rinse, too.”
Islington Council has bought three Steempro Powerplus machines to maintain community properties including libraries, surgeries and council offices.
New London luxury banqueting, conference and events venue, Meridian Grand has acquired a Prochem Polaris carpet and upholstery cleaning extractor for cleaning high quality carpets.
The venue owners also bought a Spot Pro portable spot cleaning machine for trouble-shooting spills; “feedback reflects how much easier it is to now to keep carpets in a much cleaner state,” says Phil.
Prochem Europe distributor MSM has sold two Comet extractors into care homes in Maidenhead and Leicester after new owners opted to act on restoration and care over replacement of the site’s carpets.
Peterborough-based charity DeafBlind UK has bought a Polaris 1200 to maintain carpets at its head office and purpose-built conferencing facilities at the flagship National Centre for Deafblindness in Peterborough.
Phil reports that the organisation is using Extraction Plus, Odour Fresh, Stain Pro and Citrus Gel with its machine to keep carpets spic and span.
“DeafBlind UK is also a returning customer which is always gratifying,” he says “The organisation used to have a Polaris 500 but felt it was too small and required upgrading to the 1200, which benefits from a large 45 litre solution tank and a 48cm wide cleaning path.”
And, increasing its contract portfolio throughout Berkshire, Rapid Commercial Cleaning of Wokingham has bought a Polaris 800 with hose and wand to aid growth.
Says Phil: “The company recently attended one of our cleaning courses where they told us that the new machine has virtually repaid for itself already!
“All of this business serves to reinforce our core messaging about Prochem solutions and their continued dominance in the quality cleaning services sector in the UK and elsewhere.”
