The national organisation tasked with certifying products for carpet and rug care has presented Prochem with a special award at its 2023 Conference.
The cleaning solutions specialist was awarded a plaque for ‘Most Consistent Supporter ‘of the WoolSafe Organisation over past conferences.
WoolSafe is the cleaning industry service provider devoted to best practice through maintenance product evaluation and certification, education and training and the promotion of professional cleaning and inspection services.
Accepting the award from Dr Agnes Zsednai, Managing Director of The WoolSafe Organisation, Prochem Director Of Sales & Training, Phil Jones, said:
“We’re proud of our association with WoolSafe and value them because they help our cleaning customers make the right decisions.
“Woolsafe test and certify cleaning products for use on fibres so they don’t cause degradation or damage to the fibre and we now have seventeen individual products on our range that are approved
by them.”
This year’s WoolSafe conference at Worcestershire’s Stourport Hotel saw Prochem as a Gold sponsor displaying low-moisture machinery and its full range of WoolSafe-approved products.
The morning session was spent with lectures on topics ranging from pH and chemical testing procedures, mental health issues when running a business, and successful marketing and targeting
techniques.
In the afternoon, the audience benefited from presentations on rug cleaning techniques by Allan Simmons Jr; carpet repair by Adam Jankowski; stain removal from natural fibres through re-dyeing by Gabriel Andreca and dealing with fine upholstery fabrics, such as viscose and silks by Paul Pearce.
