Prochem celebrated 45 years’ membership of the NCCA at the Association’s first post-pandemic open day at Kidderminster’s Museum Of Carpets.
“We’ve been loyal supporters of the NCCA for over forty-five years so were delighted and proud to be awarded with a trophy in recognition by its CEO, Dave Wheadon,” says Prochem Sales and Training Manager, Phil Jones.
“We displayed a range of our machinery and chemical products and ran an ‘on-the-day’ promotion on the TM4 CRB dry compound machine which had quite some interest.”
The museum hosts artefacts and photographs, some dating back to the 18th century, describing the history of the carpet manufacturing trade in the Kidderminster area and holds working examples of both hand and mechanical heritage manufacturing looms.
“Back in the day, there were up to ninety of these machines in one shed, so the noise of these working together must have been deafening!” says Phil who reports a great turn-out by members and other service providers.
