Holiday parks in the UK are ramping up to meet increased demand this summer as the war in the Middle East makes holidaymakers nervous over travelling further afield.
Parks face considerations outside those of most residential operators including getting cleaning solutions from caravans and chalets simply and efficiently.
One national holiday park in Norfolk is getting caravan cleaning turned around in good time thanks to Acle-based Hugh Crane Cleaning Equipment.
Asked to supply a cleaning system that could manage both the cleaning of carpets and upholstery, sales manager William Crane recommended the Steempro Powermax for its reliability and ease of use.
Says William: “I knew that due to its robust build the Steempro was ideal for the holiday park cleaning team as they often have to push the machine between caravans and chalets across sometimes uneven ground.
“The goal of the Steempro Powermax was to reduce the lifting of the smaller machines in and out of the caravans by running the extra hose lengths. This has prevented operator fatigue, machine damage and dramatically improved their cleaning standards.
“Along with the Sapphire Upholstery Pro, quick dry tool, they also improved their drying times and, therefore, turnaround times on the upholstery cleaning which was a major issue for them.”
William took one of the machines for an on-site demonstration at one of their parks, and promptly received an order for several units along with accessories such as extension hoses and upholstery cleaning tools.
The Steempro Powermax is one of Prochem’s best-known and well-regarded carpet and fabric extraction cleaning machines boasting a 35Ltr solution tank, twin 5.7” vacuum motors and a powerful 200psi pump.
Says William: “Looking ahead, we anticipate business growth from the UK leisure sector as operators prepare for more consumer demand in the coming months and consequently face increased need for cleaning and hygiene of these environments.”
